Just as ‘Samsara’ suggests - Sara and her practise have evolved over time.
The Sanskrit word, meaning ‘whole’, represents the continuous flow of life, death and rebirth. It encompasses the cyclical nature of all matter, life and existence and is strongly influenced by karma.
Samsara Dental now welcomes you to experience the benefit of Sara’s varied experiences throughout her career and to enjoy the reignition of her passion with her own practice.
We are not your average practice. If you are looking for trendy, corporate or budget dentistry, then perhaps we are not for you. Most of our patients are from word of mouth referrals including from specialists, and we believe this speaks volumes.
About Sara
Dr Sara L Bolton BDS - Dentist
Sara’s passion has always been holistic, ensuring each patient is treated as an individual. She ensures that patient care is at the centre of everything her team does.
Her philosophy has always been to treat the whole person, acknowledging the interplay between oral health and general health, whilst also appreciating the impact that environmental, occupational, social, emotional and spiritual factors may have on health and decision making.
Sara graduated as a dentist from The University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in 1992. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion from Curtin University and diversified into Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine, graduating from the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine in 2014. As such, Sara brings to the table a well-rounded approach to the treatment of you as a unique individual.
Sara enjoys treating patients of all ages and has previously cared for patients ranging from 12 months to 105-year-olds! She is grateful for being part of many patients’ initial dental experiences, and over the years she has converted many fearful, anxious and apprehensive patients into fearless, regular dental attenders.
Such a multi-faceted background enables Sara to understand the scientific evidence-based world of dentistry whilst simultaneously being able to incorporate alternative and complementary therapies to foster the philosophy of prevention and minimal intervention.

Our aim is to practise as sustainably as possible. We are constantly searching for ways to minimise our impact on the planet by either using reusable and autoclavable products or biodegradable if available.
Samsara Dental uses the Zero Waste BoxTM by TerraCycle© to recycle our packaging and waste.
We encourage you to drop off your used oral oral hygiene packaging in the Zero Waste Box in reception and we will ship it to TerraCycle where it is sorted, turned into plastic granules and transformed into new products
